What is Delivery Management?

ezCater's Delivery Management tool provides your drivers with all the most important delivery information and tools, to help them be successful when delivering your own catering orders.




With Delivery Management, you’ll be able to manage your own fleet of drivers and assign them to deliver any order in ezManage. Your driver will receive a text message once they’ve been assigned to an order, and a reminder text the day of the event. From within the text message, drivers will be able to quickly navigate directly to the drop-off and update their status along their journey. Once the food is set up drivers will be able to mark the order as complete. 


What you get as a Catering Manager: 

  • Self-Service Training and Onboarding portal to easily train your drivers.
  • the ability to easily manage your in-house drivers and assign them to deliver Marketplace, ezOrdering, and Direct Entry orders from your ezManage account. 
  • All driver info is stored in ezManage for managers to track driver performance with delivery event timestamps, driver feedback, and photos of the delivery.

What you get as a Driver:

  • Simple SMS-based mobile App to quickly update the delivery status.
  • One-click navigation to the delivery location.
  • Ability to call the customer from a masked phone number to ensure privacy.
  • Upload a photo of the final set-up (if using the ezManage- Delivery app).
