Methods for drivers to self-assign to an order for delivery
Drivers can quickly assign themselves to a delivery using the printed order sheet via QR code scan or by text message. This will provide access to order and delivery information, GPS navigation, the ability to call the customer from a masked phone number and ability to provide delivery updates.
Self-Assign Using a QR Code
- Open the camera on your smartphone
- Scan the QR code printed at the top of the order sheet
- Tap the link that appears
- Select "Yes, assign myself"
- You will be taken to the order page where you can see delivery details, start navigation and call the customer and/or ezCater if needed.
Self-Assign Using Text Message
- Find the phone number printed on the order sheet (1-855-699-0551)
- Text the ezCater order number to that phone number
- Click the link you receive in the reply
- Confirm by selecting "Yes, assign myself"
- You will be taken to the order page where you can see delivery details, start navigation and call the customer and/or ezCater if needed.
