The kitchen printout will contain all the necessary information for your staff to make the order on time and deliver it successfully. It will include a unique 6-digit order number, the event details or pickup time, delivery details including address and on-site contact, non-food items, menu items, a final checklist, and a notes section for your own team. The information on the printout will change slightly based on how delivery is set up.
Self Delivery
Customers expect delivery updates once the food is on the way and again once it is delivered. If you decide to deliver the order yourself, have your drivers provide delivery updates by scanning the QR code and using our mobile app.
Use the printout as a checklist and make sure all items are provided to your delivery driver before they leave the restaurant. Incomplete orders will impact your operational metrics and negatively affect your marketplace ranking.
Please check the Setup Required field in the Delivery Details section. If the Customer selects setup required, please remove all items from the bags and place the items where the customer has requested.
ezDispatch Printout
If you request ezDispatch on-demand or automatically, have the food ready by the pickup time listed on the printout to ensure our ezDispatch partner has the optimal amount of time to deliver the order. The delivery partner responsible for delivering the order will be listed under the ezDispatch details section of the page.
It’s the restaurant’s responsibility to hand off the complete order to the ezDispatch driver. Use the printout like a checklist and make sure all items are provided. Always confirm the correct 6-digit ezCater order number with the driver before handing over the order.
