You can now mark ezDispatch orders ready for pickup and advise drivers how many packaged items to expect upon arrival.
Why we've added this feature:
Increase Transparency & Reduce Disputes – Restaurant partners can now mark orders as “Ready for Pickup” and provide package counts, creating a clear handoff that improves accuracy and minimizes disputes with dispatched drivers.
Faster Hand-offs, Fewer Delays – By proactively sharing when food is ready, restaurants can streamline pickups, reduce wait times, and improve overall on-time performance.
Better Financial & Operational Control – With improved visibility, restaurants can reduce unnecessary compensation payouts, minimize missing item claims, and confidently manage their ezDispatch orders.
Follow the steps below to let us know your order is ready!
1. Mark the Order as "Ready for Pickup"
When your order is packaged and ready for pickup by ezDispatch, click the blue button labeled "Mark ready for pickup" on the Order Details page.
2. Scan the QR Code
Use your smartphone to scan the QR code which will bring you to your mobile web-browser.

3. Complete the Mobile Workflow
Once you scan the QR code, you'll be brought to your mobile web-browser where you can let us know the order is ready, enter how many packages the driver should expect and take a photo of the packaged order as proof of readiness.
Notes:
- The order will be marked "Ready" when you begin the mobile workflow.
- You will be able to access the photo of the order when viewing the status of the delivery.
- If logged in to ezManage on your mobile web-browser, you will be brought directly to the workflow after clicking "Mark ready for pickup".
- The QR Code will only be available if it is within 12 hours of the delivery time.
