** This feature is currently in testing and only available to 40% of our restaurant partners **
You spoke and we listened - now you can turn on auto-acceptance for all of your ezCater orders under a specified dollar amount. This will remove the need to manually accept orders in ezManage if the order is under the threshold of your choosing.
Follow the steps below for turning on this brand new feature!
1. Toggle "On" the Auto-Accept Feature
Navigate to your Store Settings and the Daily Capacity Limit section and click "Edit". Toggle "On" Auto-Accept at the very top of the menu:
2. Choose Your Auto-Acceptance Limit
You will immediately be prompted to choose a dollar-amount threshold for auto-acceptance. Any orders over this dollar amount will still need to be manually accepted in your ezManage account.
3. Set Your Capacity Limits and Turn On Auto Temporary Closure
If using auto-acceptance, we highly recommend having Capacity Limits set for each day of the week to ensure that we are not sending you orders that you can't handle. We also recommend having automatic temporary closure turned on which will trigger a temporary closure anytime you do hit your limit - further ensuring that you are only receiving orders you can accept.
Order Notifications:
You will still receive order notifications that an order has been received but there will be no button to accept the order. Instead you will be advised that the order has been auto-accepted.
Notes:
- If you do NOT have auto temp-closure turned on, you will continue receiving orders for that day until a closure is set.
- Order modifications will still need to be manually reviewed and confirmed.
- If you cancel an auto-accepted order then the feature will be turned OFF for 30 days to ensure protect our customers' experience on our marketplace.
- If you are using MSI or an integration of any kind, you must still opt-in to auto-acceptance through ezManage.
- Our plan is to roll this feature out network-wide in Mid-May. We will post updates in this article.
