How do I request ezDispatch?

How does it work?

ezDispatch allows you to request professional, reliable catering drivers if you need additional capacity. You can request delivery on all ezCater orders at locations that have ezDispatch coverage. Delivery can be requested as late as 90 minutes before a delivery time, by logging into ezManage.

How to request ezDispatch.


Request ezDispatch on new orders - Desktop

Log in to ezManage and find new orders under action required. Click "View Order." If ezDispatch is available in your area, you can request a driver by clicking "Request ezDispatch" under Delivery Details. You can also accept the order now and request delivery later. See "Request ezDispatch on accepted orders" below.

Request ezDispatch on accepted orders - Desktop

Delivery can be requested as late as 90 minutes before a delivery time on previously accepted orders. Go to your Orders page and select the order you'd like to request ezDispatch for. The request ezDispatch button will be available in Delivery Details on the order details page.

Request ezDispatch on new orders - ezManage app

Download the ezManage iOS app from the app store if you haven't already. Click into the new order and select "Take Action." Simply request ezDispatch and then confirm, you will receive notification and updated details once a driver is found.

Request ezDispatch on accepted orders - ezManage app

Make sure you've downloaded the latest version of the ezManage app to have the feature. Go to the orders tab to see your accepted orders. Click into the order details, scroll down and click "Take Action."  You have the ability to request ezDispatch up to 90 minutes before the order needs to be delivered. 


Pricing & Payment:

  1. Customers pay the delivery fee that you’ve chosen, which passes through to you.
  2. You pay the ezDispatch fee, and ezCater pays the delivery provider.
  3. If the ezDispatch fee is less than your delivery fee, you keep the difference. If it’s higher, you pay the difference.
  4. Any optional customer gratuity goes to the delivery provider.
