What is Multi-Factor Authentication?

What is Multi-Factor Authentication?

Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) adds a quick extra step when you sign in to help ezCater confirm it’s really you. This helps protect your account if your password is ever compromised.

When might you see Multi-Factor Authentication?

You may be asked to complete Multi-Factor Authentication when signing in or when accessing sensitive areas of your account (like profile or payment settings).

How does it work?

  1. You’ll be prompted to get a verification code sent to your account email, or by SMS, or by an automated phone call (if your mobile number is saved in your profile).
  2. Enter the code on the screen to finish signing in and continue.
  3. If needed, select “Resend code” to receive a new one.
